Destination: food, or rather, the culinary wonderland of Paris. After 14 years I finally return, this time with considerably more travel know-how and scratch than my college student self, who could barely afford a baguette. We have reservations at
Restaurant d'Hélène and
Au Trou Gascon. I haven't had a truly great meal since I left San Francisco and I'm not likely to have another until my next Paris trip. So I'm pinning all my hopes and dreams on every morsel consumed in the next few days. I hope I haven't set my expectations too high ; )
